PKR depreciates by Rs1.56 in interbank market
Following a shift in the demand and supply conditions for the dollar in the currency market on Tuesday, the Pakistani rupee fell against the dollar in the interbank market and came under more pressure. For the second time this week, the rupee continued to lose ground, dropping by Rs1.56 against the dollar on Tuesday in the interbank market. According to information provided by the State Bank of Pakistan, the local currency depreciated by 0.7% and ended the day at Rs 221.42 to the dollar.
